Attention To Detail: Reflection

During project 2, I struggled frequently in the beginning to write about the Highland Games. I was not sure what I should write, and I was worried about meeting the word count requirement. However, I later realized that I was too focused on trying to list all the different events of the Highland Games. What I needed to do was to use sensory to describe details of only a few events at the Games. It made my paper much more interesting to read. My project told a story and gave information on the history of Scotland, as well as giving a brief history on the Scots influence on Sarasota. I was also confused about which text I should analyze for the Sarasota Highland Games. After much thought, I decided to analyze the various Scottish clans
